UK’s ‘most deprived’ village builds tidal energy crypto miners to reconnect with technology


It’s often said that machines will perform upwards of 40 percent of the world’s jobs by 2035 — but one artist is out to prove that automated technologies can bring positive change too, and he’s using DIY cryptocurrency miners to do it. Jaywick, a sleepy seaside village roughly two-hours drive from London, has a well-documented problem with unemployment.
