The lost art of injecting humanity into product design


For too long, companies have relied on one quality in product design and delivery: newness. And why not? Adding cool new features to hardware, software, and gadgets enables companies to sell more products, enter new markets and attract a more diverse set of customers. It puts a fresh coat of paint on established goods while promoting the idea that a brand is innovating rather than standing still.
